What to Expect
at Your First Appointment
When you visit us for your hearing needs, you will always be greeted by Autumn Chappell. Autumn will make you feel welcomed and assist you with any paperwork.
1. The hearing examination will be performed by our hearing specialist, Kurt Chappell. He will begin the appointment with a conversation to get to know you and understand your hearing needs.
2. Before the testing begins, we will look inside your ears with an otoscope to ensure the ear canal is clear and your eardrum looks healthy.
3. The hearing test is quick and easy. You will listen for a series of sounds at various volumes and pitches. This allows us to assess your hearing ability and determine what degree of loss you have.
4. We will go over your results with you which are printed on an audiogram. If you could be helped by hearing aids, we will walk you through your options.
